ANNOUNCEMENTS

• Parking - comes at no charge this year!  Please still consider carpooling as you normally would.  You may park in the Venture CrossFit lot, Props Source + GPS Production Facility adjacent lot and street park along the businesses side ONLY.    

• Event will be cashless. Please plan to pay for merchandise or additional entries with card or check. 

• A few race ergs are still available for purchase.  

• Scratches or change requests: You may notify us via email until 5 PM eastern time on Friday. After 5 PM, please submit all scratches or change requests in person, at the registration table, on Saturday. Note that new/changes entries will depend on erg availability. 

• If you have photographers that want additional access to behind the ergs, please have them check in with the registration/info table.

WAIVERS

• Coaches and teams please ensure that your rowers have signed waivers. Direct all your rowers racing in the event visit www.rowingwaiver.com and complete the waiver for the event. *Note: if your club has a current USRowing membership and all rowers have signed a USRowing waiver, you do not need to do this.

• For individual registrants who registered themselves for the race, no further action is needed as you completed the wavier at the time of registration.

PRELIMINARY SCHEDULE

You may view the preliminary schedule here. This schedule is subject to change. Heat sheets with erg assignments will be emailed out as soon as they are ready and should be double-checked as posted on race day.

WEIGH-IN- for lightweight events only

• Friday Night: 7:30 PM at CrossFit Venture. Please arrive on-time as this will close when everyone has weighed in.  

• Saturday: Open at 8:00am Saturday and are open up to 30 minutes prior to your race.

• Coxswains do not have to weigh-in. 

• In order to qualify for a Concept2 record, weigh-in must occur 2 hours before event. Record Requirements.

• Weight limits for lightweight events are:

*There is not a separate event for Junior Men (greater than 155 lb and under 165 lb). Junior men racing to qualify for WIRC should register for the Junior Men event or the Open Lightweight Men event.

Thank you again for attending the 2019 Atlanta Erg Sprints. Congratulations to all competitors on a great day of racing! If this was your first time at Atlanta Erg Sprints we hope to see you back next year.

We want to make the Atlanta Erg Sprints even better, so please fill out our event survey or reply to this email with any feedback.  Three lucky respondents will receive a free water bottle and next year’s shirt when it is ready.   We are considering a number of changes to next year’s event including venue choice, early registration incentives, and race system improvement. Your feedback will help guide our efforts.

Final Results are posted will also be submitted to Ronin and Concept 2. Let us know if you have pictures to share for our gallery or tag us on social media.  We’ve also got some shirts left over of all sizes including women’s cut: $15 pickup, $20 shipped.
